Sean's journey from Malaysia to New Zealand started when he was quite young, motivated by the quest for better educational opportunities alongside his family. While exploring various healthcare career options, he stumbled upon podiatry and got hooked by the wide range of conditions and treatments it involves. In 2019, Sean kicked off his career with Care Podiatry, spending over two years mainly working in rest homes and retirement villages. This experience fueled his growing passion for looking after elderly folks and made him realize just how much his services were valued, motivating him to keep pushing for top-notch patient care.

Sean's enthusiasm for podiatry is boundless, covering a broad spectrum of specialties. He's particularly dedicated to taking extra care of toenail and skin problems, handling diabetic foot issues, mastering wound management, and managing lower limb injuries comprehensively. He loves diving into challenging and unique cases, continually boosting his knowledge through research and ongoing learning, all in the pursuit of becoming an outstanding clinician.

Creating meaningful connections with his patients is at the core of Sean's practice. These connections serve as his main source of motivation and inspiration in helping patients achieve the best possible treatment outcomes. Outside of work, Sean finds fulfillment in staying active, whether it's hitting the gym, going on exciting hikes, or competing in lively badminton games.

Sean firmly believes that being a podiatrist has given him a deeper appreciation for the crucial role of foot care in overall health and well-being. As he puts it, "Our feet are the foundation for our entire body's well-being, so taking proper care of them is of utmost importance."
